Let me start this blog by telling a little bit about myself. I am a 25 year old LDS Mother of three boys! I was born in Oslo Norway, but have been raised here in Salt Lake City for the majority of my life. I have been married to a wonderful man for six years now this April. I currently reside in West Jordan Utah, and have lived here for three years.
About a year ago my sister in law introduced me to essential oils. To be more pacific, doTerra essential Oils. I was looking for a all purpose cleaner for my kitchen that was safe for my granite counters, stainless steel and ceramic stove top. She gave me a bottle of Lemon oil and a really pretty blue glass spray bottle and asked me to try it. After doing some research I found that Lemon Oil is not only safe for all my surfaces but kills ALL the nasty germs in my kitchen. Salmonella, Ecoli, H1N1 virus to name a few. As an added bonus it was safe for my children. In fact I was told to take a drop orally everyday to boost my immune system. So Now not only do i clean with this Lemon Oil but Myself and my family take a drop as we walk out the door each morning. And it works, we hardly ever get sick.
I was diagnosed with bi-polar about four years ago. When I found out I was pregnant with my third child I decided for the health of my child I was going to stop taking my mood stabilizing medications. Shortly after the delivery I was showing signs of the disease. I was nursing and really wanted to keep my baby safe from the side effects of these medications, so I turned to essential oils. I started using a blend that doTerra offers called Elevation. I have not only not had to use any medication but I also had no post par tum depression of any kind. I was amazed of how a simple oil blend could offer me that much peace of mind.
Why I started selling doTerra essential Oils is easy. I LOVE the product. I love that it is safe to clean with and safe for my children. That it is saving me money on medical and giving me peace of mind. I love that it is all natural and 100% therapeutic grade.
